Job Title:  Occupational Therapist

Contract Length: 205-day contract

Job Summary

Position is responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment to special needs students enrolled in educational programs; providing individual treatment to correct specific areas of sensory-motor integrative dysfunction; administering pediatric occupational therapy assessments to determine a sstudent'slevel of function relative to the sstudent'sage age and educational placement in such areas as fine/gross motor skill development, sensory motor integration, self-care, and activities of daily living.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, to enter data into a computer; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in regular classrooms, outdoors, and on thephonee; physical agility to lift to 25 pounds; and to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk and reach overhead.
